Windows Phones from Rs 15000 to 30000 (Lets talk Windows )

Windows Phone gained a few new fans and loyalists after Nokia signed up with Microsoft  last year in February. The result was Lumia series being born and Windows 7 OS(mobile) getting some attention from everyone. As of now there are only a handful of Windows 7.5( Mango) phones in the market and it certainly has its fan base and haters. The OS is known for its  intuitive yet elegant user interface . But before one decides to jump into the wagon he/she should also be aware of its flaws/cons . WP7 as an OS has some missing features that some might not want while some desperately need them .

Windows 7.5 needs a software called Zune to sync or transfer your files/music/videos etc to your phones -its something like iTunes for iOS devices .

  • There is no support for Bluetooth File Transfer-Bluetooth headsets etc are supported its just file transfer which is missing.
  • There is no File Manager in the phone
  • There is no Mass Storage Mode either –  Zune is required for everything
  • You can’t see your 3G data usage on the phone (One can contact the service provider and know it though).

If these doesn’t affect you then a Windows Phone will definitely be a change and will give you a different kind of experience. Here are some phones running on Windows 7 OS .Also note that there will be an update named as Apollo ,rolling out by the end of 2012 which is supposed to add a few good new features like support for multi-core processors ,NFC support , deeper SkyDrive integration etc .
